For highly qualified students, the department has Graduate Studies Scholarship available.  Upon arrival, such students will be provided with a one-time award to cover initial living expenses and travel over and above the normal TA stipend to assist with relocation.  Each year at least five of these awards are available.  These and related programs are part of an on-going effort to recruit the best possible students to participate in our unique Ph.D. program under the mentorship of world class faculty.

   a)  GRE/GPA

   b)  TSE/TOEFL

   c)   Distance from UTA

   d)  Financial need
